LEMON CHUTNEY

Somewhere or the other we all have grown up devouring the lemon chutney prepared by our grandmother while reminiscing the memories associated with it.  I still remember that my grandma used to plant lemons in her kitchen garden so that she could prepare lemon chutney out of them.

Lemon chutney is a speciality from Malnad region of Karnataka.  Lemon chutney is delicious and healthy with many benefits like it is loaded with vitamin C, induces good digestion, it helps in removal of toxins, improves immunity. This chutney is a finger licking fusion of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy taste with a tinge of bitterness at the end.

Our homemade lemon chutney is made from freshly procured lemons as lemons aid digestion, provide vitamin C and helps in reducing high blood pressure. Keeping in mind the health of our customers, this condiment is prepared from organic spices like organic red chilli powder that contains Capsaicin which helps to improve metabolism and blood circulation. It also contains vitamins A, B, and C thus helps to improve the immune system of the body, Asafoetida a natural herb that helps in controlling the blood cholesterol levels in the body, Garam masala a spice blend that is full of antioxidants which help in preventing skin problems and also help fight inflammation. For the process of preservation we have used Himalayan pink salt that has minerals like potassium and calcium, as well as lesser-known minerals like strontium and molybdenum and it also helps in balancing the overall body’s PH level, organic black salt that contains sufficient amount of potassium that is crucial in regulating muscle functioning and also helps absorb other minerals well and organic sugar which is high in polyphenols. It is also loaded with vitamins and minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, and iron.
